The Australian:The early warning signs I missed in Mum’s decade-long Alzheimer’s battle

2015 and my mother is in a brain rehabilitation ward post-stroke. It is eight years before she will die from Alzheimer’s. We are sitting in the occupational therapist’s office. The OT asks Mum to draw a clock at 3 o’clock.
